The Monarch - The Wanderer
May 30, 2011
To the Students at George Washington Carver Elementary School,
There are a many words of wisdom I would like to share with you all, but the words of George Washington Carver for whom your school is named, seems much more powerful and concise than any I can write myself:
1) “Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom.”
2) “Where there is no vision, there is no hope.”
3) “When you do the common things in life in an uncommon way,
you will command the attention of the world.”
4) “There is no short cut to achievement. Life requires thorough
preparation - veneer isn’t worth anything.”
5) “No individual has any right to come into the world and go out
of it without leaving something behind.”
I feel blessed to be able to share my passion of Architecture with you all and I hope the lessons I shared can be applied to all the things you love to do. If you follow your heart, success with follow.
Sincerely,
Frank
